I have a 2015 rx350 with 1178000 miles , lately been experiencing shaking while driving 50 or faster and also shaking while idling in gear and in park , went to multiple shops , had the upper engine mount and front & rear shock replaced, someone recommended ro replace the axle another to replace the control arms and lower engine mounts, I m lost and confused , it seems every one else is having a great luck with rx350 and my problem doesnt go away and no one has a clue what to do to make it go away ...
Well I would start by having a good Lexus mechanic check all the transmission and motor mounts. There's no reason it should shake it idle unless either one of those mounts is bad or you have some type of problem like a vacuum leak or an ignition problem that makes the engine not fire correctly. But if that was the case it would do it at all. RPMs not just idle and a certain speed. It would also do it at 30 mph if it was a problem in the fuel or ignition system
