Hi Scotty, i know you're not a fan of Mini, unfortunately I did not know about the issues prior to buying this countryman. I have a 2015 Countryman JCW, 6 speed manual. It runs great and i keep it in immaculate condition, it has about 45k miles. I used some seafoam to try clean the intake as its direct injection, and few weeks later i got a P2402 check engine code, evaporative emissions system leak detect pump control circuit high, at last thats what it says on the scan using the app Torque as well as others ive cleared it several times and it keeps coming back. I searched online but cannot find where the pump is located for this vehicle so i can check it and possibly replace it if needed as i found replacements online. Can you give me some advice please? I really like the car and i dont want to get rid of it anytime soon. Thanks

Remove the right rear tire and the right rear wheel Arch and that pump is hiding inside there. Another brilliant English German design

when you say right rear
you mean pass side or driver side?

Scotty doesn’t respond back to follow up questions. Right Rear typically means passenger side.
