I have a 2015 Nissan Altima and its in desparate need of Transmission Service because ive went almost 85 thousand miles with the same fluid and it has a CVT. The dealer wants $220 for the service every 30 thousand miles and thats ridiculous money for that interval of mileage. Should I risk doing it myself or should I call around my area and see if anyone can do it cheaper? Its started slipping every so often and I can feel it slightly shaking as I decelerate and it downshifts.

Price around at independent mechanic shops. 30k miles is a regular interval for those jatco cvts as it will go out around 100k if maintained, and not much more if it is. Price around!
