My 015 4.0L tacoma engine has a ticking noise on warm up but does quiet down some after being driven for 8-10 miles or so. I cant really tell if it is a lifter tick or mayby an exhaust manifold tick ?....Either wat it bothers me not knowing....Any ideas that anyone has heard of about this motor doing this is appreciated.This motor is known for being pretty bullet proof most of the time.(And NO it is not low on oil)....Thank you in Advance for the responses !

Check for a loose or cracked exhaust manifold.
