I have a 2016 honda civic 2.0 engine 75k miles. I'm changing the transmission fluid, it does not have a transmission dipstick. my local Honda dealer told me it holds 3.7 quarts, but when I drained the original fluid only 2.8 quarts came out. Should I put 2.8 quarts back in, or should I put what honda told me, the 3.7 quarts In it. Also how do I check the fluid if there is no dipstick. Plz help, I can't drive my car until I find out
@bynx
If less came out than is recommenced, you were low on fluid.
Does that make sense?

Whatever came out, put the same amount back in. There should be a check level bolt on the transmission right above the drain plug.
