Hello, i have a 2016 Chevy Colorado 3.6L 4x4 z71 crew cab with 115k miles. I recently changed my oil, and it had a strong gas odor, and the oil is black and thick. Also my transmission (6 speed transmission) feels to be slipping between 50 and 65 mph aka 5th, and 6th gear. Also i am due for new tires, suspension, breaks and 4 rotors. Do u suggest to do the repairs or buy a new truck. By the way i love your videos and congrats to moving to Tennessee.
I would get rid of it.
Get the data. Have a general inspection done, by a competent diagnostic mechanic, and then do a cost/benefit analysis.
I agree, get rid of it while somebody’s still attracted to its young age. You don’t want to be stuck with it, when the granny finally gives up.
Don’t throw good money after bad.
Good luck!
