Bonjour scotty from Montreal I have a problem with my remote starter on my 2016 dodge Durango after pressing the remote button 2x as per the remote the truck starts then shuts off immediately after I've changed the battery in the remote and my truck battery is reading 14.4 volts I can start the truck manually (pushbutton) and it's fine.

Are you still on the original 5 yr old battery from the factory?

Try this:

Start the vehicle normally with the push button. Put your foot on the brake and then press the remote start button on the key fob for 3 seconds. Then turn the car off then retry starting with the remote control.
