Hey Scotty, I have a 2016 Ford Fusion 2.0 EcoBoost. I know they aren’t the most reliable engines or transmissions. Would it be dumb to add some of that Lucas transmission oil stuff that’s used to stop a slipping tranny now while there are no issues with the tranny or wait and hope nothing goes wrong and add it if symptoms start to show? Or should I change my transmission fluid? I don’t know if it has ever been changed before. Car has 123,xxx miles.
Thanks!
Matthew

Go change that tranny fluid (and filter, if equipped)! You should’ve changed it every 40-50,000 miles. Read this article first -

Don’t use Lucas unless your transmission is already acting up.
