I was helping friend with her Acadia, the AC went out, was a bad clutch on compressor. Replaced compressor, evacuated and recharged system. A few days later the AC line going to the compressor got a crack near the compressor mounting block. replaced hose.. Again evacuated and recharged system. Few day later that hose cracked at the same spot, Can't seem to figure out what is causing this, check the motor mounts, thinking it would cause vibration, but they are fine. Check them in forward and reverse. Something must be cause vibration for this hose to cause the aluminum to crack near the compressor. Look for suggestions to check out.
Here is the part that keeps cracking

I've seen that happen before and generally it means that either the hose assembly was built in correctly or the compressor has a problem and it stresses it too much and makes it crack but make sure it is torqued on correctly if over tighten it will do that too use a torque wrench
