Hi Scotty - I own this 2016 Highlander V6 FWD since new, it has 155,000 miles, no issues no problems. Recently it has started taking longer to crank. No lights, no other noticeable issues. Runs fine. I had new plugs (OEM not anything cheap), and required seals installed at around 120k miles, again, no issues. But recently started taking 3-5 seconds longer to start. Does it cold or at temp. I live in S Florida. Battery is less than 2 years old, could it be battery? Fuel pump? It runs fine, shifts fine. No check engine light. Maintenance has been on point. What else could I be looking for? Thank you.
Well of course have the battery load tested cuz a weak battery can do that. It can have enough to crank an engine but not start it right away. You might also run some fuel injection cleaner through the system. Could be a slightly clogged injector. And of course check the spark plugs air filter. Make sure everything is good and not worn out
