My car just turned 100K and went to the dealer for an oil change. Their inspection of the car stated the rear shock was leaking and both rear shocks should be replaced. I have the original rear shocks fail at 40K and were replaced by Honda ( they changed everything in back - about $1000 per dealer.) Have others had problems with rear shocks? Anyone had experience with KYB or Sachs shocks ( which seem to be the aftermarket  - no Bilstein or Koni available )?

The dealer is ripping you off.  Get the KYB shocks for the rear and install them yourself.
