Hi Scotty. I am about to go off to college and I have been looking for a reliable used car to buy. A guy offered to sell me his 2007 Toyota Yaris with automatic transmission for $3000. It has quite a lot of miles on it, about 218,000. What do you think?
I would pass. My aunt had that car before and she wasn't a fan of it- I believe she also leased that car.
I bough Toyota Yaris 2007 Sedan Base version recently.
What I like: good mileage per gallon 35-40 MPG. In my case the engine and transmission are pristine. Bought for $3700 with 170k miles.
What I dislike: no powered windows and powered door locks in my base version; I sometimes hit steering wheel with my knee. The car is for small persons. No tachometer, no coolant temperature gauge. I have to use an OBD tool to see these.
