Love the content so seeing if you can see / help on this. I have a 2016 Honda Odyssey with the 3.5L VCM engine with only 73,000 miles on it. We just had it suddenly throw CEL (flash) (plus FCW/LCA) and start running rough. Put a low end scan on it and P0302 code - #2 misfire. Replaced the plugs. Still there. Swapped the coils. Still there. Put in fuel injector cleaner, but tank was full and I haven't driven it much to churn through it since it is misfiring so I don't know if that had any impact. At the very least it has yet to fix anything. Unplugged engine oil temp sensor (to "turn off" VCM) and nothing different. So I am going to have to take it in as I think this is beyond me.
Question 1: Anything else I can check at home without tearing into the injectors? I just don't have that depth of knowledge or experience to go there I think.
Question 2: I live about 30 miles from any sort of maintenance shop. Will it cause damage if I drive it with the misfire? Or should I unplug the coil or something else to turn that cylinder off to avoid damage?

Well if the check engine light isn't flashing you can drive it. It's not going to damage anything. Pray it's as simple as a bad fuel injector because if not it could be the head gasket starting to blow. It could be a problem with a camshaft or the valves or even a worn piston
Well I guess I have not choice but to try me limp it down there to see.
That flashing check engine light is telling you "stop driving immediately". If you cannot troubleshoot the problem yourself it would be better to have the vehicle towed to a mechanic to avoid further damage.

Well she is flashing, so guess that is not good. Makes me mad as we have always kept maintenance up and even take to dealer just so we can avoid the disapproving look they give when you don’t. Not to mention it is hard to find a good mechanic these days. Well I guess I have not choice but to try me limp it down there to see. Hope she holds together and is just injectors. 70k just a teenager.
