I have a 2016 Honda HRV with 60k miles automatic. Every time I drive the car the key battery light comes on and blinks the entire time I'm driving. Everything works fine and the car runs and starts with no problem. Yes I have changed the battery in the key and tried another key.
Could be the Start/Stop button. Others have complained online.
I have the same issue 52,000 miles. I watch the YouTube video on taking apart the start stop button which is pretty easy. You just clean the rubber connection system where the button is and it will make your key wireless connection light go away. If you do not feel comfortable taking apart the button you can replace it for around $50 on Amazon. I replaced my batteries and that did nothing but fixing the button solve the problem!
It's amazing that did not get a recall. Failure to start (or stop) seems pretty serious.
