Hi Scotty its me again.
My 2002 gt is throwing code p0117 (Engine Coolant Temperature sensor 1 Circuit low) and U1073 (Invalid Or Missing Data for Engine Coolant From PCM). I noticed that when the key is in the start position but the car is not on, the temperature gage shows the temperature of the car. As soon as I turn the car on the gage goes back to 0. I did change the PCM but nothing has changed. Also my scan tool is reading 338 F even when the car is completely cold. If anybody know the fix to this problem I would be very grateful.
To Scotty thanks for your videos. I have learned a few things while watching your channel. PS have other problems that I will be asking about if I cannot find the fix on my own.
- All right you either have a wiring problem or the main computer is gone bad if you ask me. But if you really lucky just change the temperature sensor on the engine and pray that fixes it though I doubt it will
Is there more than one temperature sensor on the mustang beside the one on the engine?
