I've got a bit of an issue with my 2016 jeep compass radio. The radio turns on and no music plays. I can connect to bluetooth and it will play the music from my phone. the radio turns on and has power going to it and i can see the st flashing on the radio showing there is a signal. the music does randomly play and turn off and the time in between is completely random. any advice to what it might be or how i can fix it?
It sounds (no pun intended) like a bad connection at the plug for the speaker feed. You probably have to completely disassemble the dash board to get to it, or maybe just slide the radio body out to get access to the multi-pin plug in in the back.
