Greetings,
I have a 2014 F150 5.0 and I was wondering when I should have the rear differential fluid changed. I hear people say that it can wait to 100k but that seems like a long time to wait to have something like that changed. Any thoughts?

Do not follow Fords recommended fluid changes. I have a 15 5.0 and have never followed the schedule it is way to long intervals. I’ve changed mine every 30-50k. If I’m towing heavy consistently it’s every 20k. Watch Fordtechmuckaloco on YouTube. He primarily works on Fords. He has a whole video on fluid changes.

I change both my differential's oil once a year, as well as the transmission and transfer case, regardless of mileage.
