Engine vibration in cold weather

I have a 2016 Kia Sedona with 145k . It runs completely fine when it’s over 60 degrees…. Once the temp gets in the 50s you can start to feel a slight vibration in the car. Nothing else can s noticeable wrong with the car. It’s showing no codes or even stored codes. I even left the car sit over night with the battery disconnected… starting it cold it also idles very high around 1300 and stays there until I put it in gear… after that it settles down to a normal rpm …. Not sure what think?

What about live data? Have you tried cleaning the MAF sensor and throttle body? Have spark plugs been changed? (At 145K miles they should be due if original.)

Fast idle is normal for a cold start. You'd have to check the specifications for your vehicle to see whether that fast idle RPM is correct or not.

Also, for future reference please use the title line of your topic for a short description, not details that belong in the body of your post. Thanks. (Title edited.)

@chucktobias I replaced the MAF… did help any.. I put a used throttle body on which actually fixes my check engine light and made the car run perfectly…. I can feel the transmission shift when it drives immediately…. So I’m kind of leaning towards a transmission mount ?

@chucktobias and yes I just changed to spark plugs and coils

Worn transmission or engine mounts wouldn't have anything to do with the fast idle of course but could contribute to vibration.

@chucktobias I’ll do better with my post next time …. Thanx

Yah that’s what’s got me so puzzled? Perhaps the vibrations from bad transmission mounts are making the cold start seems worse than it really is… thanx
