I have a 2016 Nissan Maxima, it only has 83,000 miles on it but when I get on the highway and try to floor it…the speedometer and car stays at the same spot. Actually if you keep flooring it, it goes slower…I’ve gotten multiple oil changes to flush bad oil out but I just don’t know what it could be. My check engine light isn’t on either.
Did the engine rpm go up when you floor it? If so, I would say the transmission issue. If not, check the throttle body and accelerator pedal position sensor.
I can think up of few reasons
Low transmission fluid
Bad torque converter
Bad transmission
Clogged catalytic converter
Bad filter
Vacuum leak
