I have a 07 Camry, it is a 2.4 automatic. For a while now there has been a click coming from the front passenger side of the vehicle. The sound is consistent with wheel speed and does not get worse when turning but goes away when turning to the left ( the side the sound is coming from). It sounds like a bearing going bad, tinny and rattling kind of sound that does not change. My question is, is it safe to say that the CV axle is just going bad? There is no play in wheels and no humming at speeds, only clicking. The vehicle drives normally as well.

Yes, most likely the CV axle shaft is the issue.
