The drivers side headlight went out I replaced the bulb and was still out. i tried the new bulb on the Passenger side and it worked but not on driver side. The old bulb was bad anyway because it didn’t work on the passenger side either. So could I have a bad socket or could the electrical/wiring be bad?

Check fuses and relays. Check to see if voltage is present at the bulb socket.
