[Solved] 2016 Toyota 4Runner PCV valve stuck

Hello all, and another question from an at home newbie with respect to auto repair.

I’m attempting to remove my PCV valve (stopped for the evening) and it’s not coming out.  I have the correct deep well socket, I’m getting a solid fit on the valve, but it won’t come out.  Before I really lay into and or get a cheater bar I wanted advice from folks much more experienced then me.  My 4 runner has 65k and only changing it as routine maintenance.  Final note, I can see some thread so I’m concerned that perhaps the dealership (they did all my maintenance before I found Scotty) cross threaded it at some point.  But I’ve owned it since new and never had it replaced.

Thoughts or is it real mechanic time?

As always thank you for your help and time.

Well if it's a threaded npcv valve those threads can stick get a cheater bar and just on screw the thing if it's just pressed then they can often get so stuck that you just break them off get an ice pick and get all the pieces out and then install the new one with a new gasket and a little engine oil to lube it

Thank you sir for your help and time. It’s screwed in, so I’ll put a little more power behind getting it off. I was nervous of breaking something.
As always, your education is appreciated.
John
