I’m torn, I’m recently retired and love all the safety features of the 2019 LE and or XLE.
Have the bugs been taken care of in the 8 speed transmission?
love the tech, I must admit.
please help an old guy out!!!😁

It is good car and its automatic transmission does not have issues, it shifts a bit different than the 6 speed but it is because of fuel saving. Nothing to worry about.

Also, just something to be aware of. Those 2 trims you mention have the 2.5L I4 Dynamic Force Engine which is all-new for this generation. Long term reliability/durability is unknown, whereas the 2017 had the true and tried I4. Both generations had the V6 as well (it was not a Dynamic Force engine), and those were good.
