Hi Scotty,

It's been 2 months or so since I started following your Channel and you have been very educational and informative.

I am researching info on which SUV to buy and need your input.

I am 62 yrs young and want this purchase to be my last if possible, so I want to buy a reliable SUV.

Can you compare 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe LT $38,998 with 97,955 miles versus 2018 Toyota Highlander Limited $33,997 with 67,272 miles please?

Can the 2017 Tahoe be as reliable than Toyota Highlander in your opinion?

My concerns are the upcoming maintenances before either SUV reaches 100K miles?

I know that you do not have a crystal ball but appreciate your professional opinion since I started following your channel.

Thank you sir.

Joe~

Severely overpriced.  Do these prices include any type of warranty or is that an extra cost?

Both of these vehicles are way overpriced. I would definitely keep looking.

Stay away from the Tahoe;  as a “last car” the Toyota Highlander should last much longer.

What does "certified" mean, exactly?  By whom, what for and how long?

Between those two Highlander hands down, GM makes a lot of junk and the 2017 Tahoe is no exception. However, I would keep looking and see if you can get the Highlander cheaper because they are asking way too much money.

The Toyota is Certified and it's a Dealer's price.

The Tahoe is a private seller from Auto Trader website.

Thanks for the inputs kesterpaul62, DayWalker, & Doc

I will keep looking.
