Hi Scotty, I have a 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback 1.5L turbo with the GDI engine and CVT transmission. I'm at 50,000 miles and I am looking to switch to the Amsoil GF-6A oil for the OW-20 spec. I live in Florida so not subject to harsh winters. How frequent would you recommend changing the oil to make the car last as long as possible?

Literally go with what everyone else said and stick with what the manufacture recommends. Someone got paid to sit and figure out what oil is the absolute best for your engine so stick with it!

Stick with the factory recommended specification oil, change it every 5k.

Follow what the car tells you through the maintainence minder and you should be good, and use what the Manufacturer only recommends.
