My 2017 civic proximity sensing door handle stopped unlocking. If you use the key fob to lock and unlock the proximity sensing door works to unlock. It also works for a few minutes after driving. Has anyone experienced this?
Should I try disconnecting the negative battery terminal to reset the computer and see if it fixes it.

Well you can try but something's wrong and that won't fix it permanently. I assume the sensor itself is wearing out. They will wear out over time. All that fancy electronic goo guys break eventually
