Should I take it to the dealership for new timing belt or is it something I can do myself? I am somewhat mechanically inclined but don't want to bite off more than I can chew.
Clarification: Do you have the 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine?

Your vehicle has a timing chain, not a timing belt. You are probably referring to the serpentine accessory drive belt which is fairly easy to replace.
