Scotty I bought a 2017 Ford Explorer XLT new 4wd 3.5 v6, I only have 23,000 miles on it, just noticed oil leak, dealer said need to replace the rear main seal .I did get the 7yr 100,000 mile extended warranty, so no charge to me, but do you think it is way to soon for the rear main seal needing to get replaced?

Yes it is way too soon. But Ford quality isn't what it once was. At least your warranty will cover it. However, I would definitely sell it before that warranty is up.
