2014 VW GLI - 180k - mostly hywy miles
twice I’ve heard a grinding noise when accelerating hard so I let off gas and it stopped. I usually drive like a grampa but do attempt the Italian tune up from time to time. Sound is focused on passenger side. At first I thought turbo but no whirring, no white smoke. Then I thought CV axle. OEM part $415. Would not buy cheaper aftermarket for this part. Stick with OEM.
no sound when turning. Only punching the gas.
no pcodes on turbo.
CV axle?

Is it true it's off in the transmission is going out now those which are really crappy units. But do my video finding the source of car noises Scotty and then you can find out maybe it's a wheel bearing if you're lucky
