Every time I put it in park it gets stuck and I have to reset it by inserting my key into the center console to reset it and get into drive.

Check the brake pedal switch for proper operation, or bad shift interlock.

Is your brake switch working properly? (lights come on)
Inspect,clean or replace the shift interlock solenoid as necessary.
