Hey Scotty,
I bought a 2017 Ford Taurus from a dealership a few weeks ago and started noticing a vibration in the front of the car. When you first pick up speed, you can feel it, but it goes away after about 30mph. I took it to Firestone to get a complete vehicle inspection, and they told me my rear shocks/struts had a slow leak and said the vibration was coming from my tires “cupping” I have had cars before that had tires that started to cup and it didn’t feel like this. In your professional opinion, what do you think it is?
Notably, from your videos, it looks like you have settled in Clarksville, TN. I have lived there for many years, and the dealership I bought it from is not very far from you. I currently live in Murfreesboro, TN.
Cupped tires can definitely cause a vibration. Have a look yourself and see if there is any abnormal wear around the inside or outside of your front tires. It is very easy to see if indeed there is cupping
Thanks for that clarity
