2017 Honda Accord, 60K miles, do dealer fuel system clean?

Hello Scotty! I took my car to Honda dealership for an oil change after the oil change they give me a summary and recommendations of work that needs to be done on my car. One of them was fuel/emission clean and they were charging $155. To me that seems like a scam, I have a 2017 Honda Accord with 60,000 miles is that worth it?

It's a ripoff. The only thing they'll clean out is your wallet.

Clean out your fuel system for 1/5th of what the dealer wants -

As long as you oil change @ EVERY six months & use a grade of oil in the manual you should be fine. BUT peace of mind 4 me is YES run an additive every 10,000 k. because OEM fuel injectors are NOT cheap to replace when they fail. my 04 corolla has a L98 fuel once a year with an additive. it is low milage 4 it's age. more peace of mind than needed 2 me. do it yourself not by a dealer this will make you FEEL great if nothing else 🙂
