2017 Honda Accord EX-L Inquiry

I own a 2017 Honda Accord EX-L with just over 45,000 Miles on it. Bought it from the dealer when it was only 21,000 miles. I only had to replace the engine oil, transmission, air filters, and brake pads & rotors.

What else should I be on the lookout for in the future with this Honda?

" only had to replace the engine oil, transmission, air filters, and brake pads & rotors."
Did you replace the whole transmission or just the transmission fluid?

Correction: Transmission fluid.... and it runs excellent! Sorry about that!

Just follow the service interval instructions in your owner’s manual & replace major parts when they fail. It’s a Honda, so the odds of that happening so soon are slim.

Also feel free to browse through the excellent FAQ section of this website, whenever you do run into a problem, in future.

If it's a 6 cylinder.  Unless I am mistaken, 6 cylinders still use timing BELTS.  Check the owners manual, but I think it is around 100K-150K the timing belts and balancing belts need to be changed out.  Might as well change the water pump while you are at it too as preventive maintenance.

If it is 4 cylinders, no worries, I believe those are timing CHAINS, with little to no maintenance necessary (just make sure to continue to do regular oil changes).
