Hey Scotty I have a question. I have a 2017 Honda Accord sport & needed to change the transmission fluid so I went to autozone & they said to get castrol transmax cvt transmission fluid so I did & put that in my car but I wasn't too sure it was the right one for my car so I called the dealer & they're saying that car only uses Honda genuine hcf-2 transmission cvt fluid now I'm worried should I get the transmission fluid flushed & get the Honda genuine one?

You'll be okay.  People use Castrol CVT fluid all the time.

But Honda fluid is more specific for their CVT's.

Best to play safe and stick with the Honda fluid going forward.

Thanks, so should I drain it & put the Honda fluid or leave the castrol fluid & wait after the 30,000 miles to change it out

Yes, unless you find the transmission acting differently.
Castrol is a huge brand. It is doubtful they would market a bad product and risk a class action lawsuit.
The shame is on automakers for gouging customers with their pricing.

Sounds good thanks a lot
