Realistically, what's the reliability difference between the turbo-4 and straight 6 engines (other than the obvious turbo replacement around 150k miles). The fuel savings seems pretty significant to me, but if the reliability really isnt there then it's probably not worth it.

Their V6s is bulletproof. Any motor with forced induction will need some kind of extra maintainence and $$$$, like you mention turbo for example. Go with the V6, you won't regret it.

For reliability and longevity, the straight six is the way to go. The turbo engines are under more strain and simply do not last as long.
