I have a 17 Lexus RX350 30,000km with weird engine noises. I also have a 2002 Lexus RX300 with 207,000 KM that’s quieter then the newer one. The video is from another owner but makes the same sounds maybe even louder.
Yes it's sad but true they don't make them like they used to.but you won't get any satisfaction from the company they'll just say it's normal as they told one of my customers with a brand new one with $15,000 miles that made 10 times more noise than that 10-year-old one I had in the driveway the same day that had 380,000 miles on it
Thanks Scotty for the response
Update my 2017 RX 350 the fuel pump has been recalled according to Lexus website after I checked the VIN number. The dealership never notified me and I guess wanted to put off the warranty work. The reputation of this Lexus service dealership is worsening because I also have a 2002 Lexus RX 300 with 207,000 km that was mostly serviced at the dealership. I would never go there again. I had the timing belt serviced at 144,000 km without the water pump was also upsell of iridium spark plugs that had a interval at 200,000 km but was replaced because my parents at the time decided to do it back in 2012, That was $4000 CAD which included a $175 conventional oil change. There was a couple more times where my parents were upsell on unnecessary work. I just have to say like a premium brand like Lexus and dealership network I never thought they would cut corners and be dishonest to their customers but reality they have done.
