Hello
I recently got a side mirror replacement on my 2017 Mazda 3 (about 53K miles, automatic transmission). However, the cover is a little loose though it has not fallen off. Is there a cost effective method for sealing the cover in place? I have read about using epoxy glue but am not sure if that is the way to go.
Thank you!
If you mean the cover on the opposite side of the mirror, see if it will snap back in. Or see if you can easily take it off to re-seat it properly. Sometimes all it needs is just a little pop/nudge to secure it self.
If you mean the whole mirror assembly is loose, it might be a screw or nut that is loose. inside the car.
Yeah, it's just the outer shell (the part of the mirror that matches the car color). I can snap it back into place, but over time, it finds a way to slip off slightly.
Would a little epoxy glue just seal it in place?

This stuff might do the trick:

you mean the housing? or is this some sort of aftermarket protective cover?
Hello!
I am referring to the housing.
check to make sure the mirror was installed correctly. Otherwise, you'll have to disassemble the mirror and see if there's hardware missing, or broken clips, or whatever, and repair it based on that.
