Hi, there. I have an automatic 2017 Mazda 3 Sport with 60,182 miles on it. Every once in a while, it will jerk forward when I go from reverse to drive and press on the gas.
I took it to the dealership and said they found carbon build up on the throttle body. I got it replaced, but it still does it. I've mentioned it a few more times when I've gone back to get other stuff worked on, but they never mention it or couldn't find anything wrong. What could it be?
Do you mean they cleaned the throttle body? Or are you telling me the dealer replaced a 4 yr old throttle body with some carbon build up, with a brand new one??
Trash can jerk from any reasons you need to find a mechanic like me who can put his fancy scan tool on take it for a road test and when it jerks that records all that information and we play back that information we can find the cost but you can't guess on a modern car like that there's too many possibilities
