I would like to know everyone’s opinions on if you would recommend the 2017 mustang 5.0 V8 automatic im not going to beat it like a dog and i will also stay on top of regular maintenance
As long as you go with the auto you'll be fine. The manuals have a ton of problems but the autos are fairly solid and the 2nd generation 5.0L motors were good engines.
You're biggest concern will be A/C failure as all 2015+ Mustangs have that problem. It's about a $2500 fix out of warranty.

You should be okay. The 2018 plus mustangs went downhill in quality.
