Hello Scotty. My mother has a 2017 Nissan rogue with a four-cylinder motor 56,000 miles. Today she just got a check engine light with code P0101 “ Mass or volume airflow sensor ‘A’ Circuit Range/performance“ is there anything that I should check out first that would be obvious? As soon as I open the hood I noticed that her hood stand was loose in the motor but still attached to the hood. I put it back but I am wondering if it hit some thing. what should I look for? Thank you

I would get a new air filter and remove and clean the MAF sensor with the dedicated, CRC Mass Airflow Sensor cleaner. Hopefully, that will solve the problem.
