Hey Scotty, I bought a 2017 Honda Civic sports touring with 37k miles on it and just wanted to know if I made a good decision. Any other advice for making it last as long as possible is great welcome, I change the oil every 5000 miles using full synthetic oil, do you have any specific recommendations for brand for motor oil?

You’re due for a CVT fluid change, along with brake fluid flush.
Use any name brand engine oil, as long as it meets the specifications which your owner’s manual requires.

Just want to add that with cvt fluid make sure to use Honda oem fluid. Honda cars are very sensitive when it comes to this and it's specifically stated in the owners manual too.
