2017 Subaru Forester- 88k, 2nd replacement engine, should I dump it?

My 2017 Forester (2.5l manual tranny) had engine failure at 80k highway miles when an intake component broke off and dropped into the head. The intake, damaged head, short block, exhaust manifold and catalytic converter were replaced.   The replacement short block consumed oil (1qt per 800 miles) and was replaced again.  The 2nd replacement engine is not burning oil (yet) but is being pulled today because the Subaru dealer did not install the head properly and it is leaking oil.

I am very concerned about all of this engine swapping causing wear and tear on the other mechanical components.  The extended warranty is expiring in 6 months.  Should I dump this car and cash out the remaining equity ($12k) and get a used Highlander or enjoy not having payments and roll the dice?  I make my last payment this month and I am religious about preventative maintenance.  TIA!

Get a Lawyer and fight them.....you may have rights......

@oneimich
Thanks! They have repaired everything without too much of a fight, but the extended warranty ends soon. Then I am on my own.

Even if the warranty ends soon, it should be retroactive.
Document everything, good for you.....
