Hey Scotty, I recently got a 2017 Toyota Camry 4cylinder, that now has 90k miles on it. Every time I start my car it sounds like something rattling with an idle at 1500rpm. It only happens when the engine is cold and the rattling only last a second. What could this be and how do I fix it? Thanks!!!

Well flush the engine oil out first. If it's dirty it can make the tensioner and a timing chain get weird. No rattle like that. That can often fix it, but if not you'll even need a new tension or even worse. The variable valve timing system could be worn. If that's the case. A lot of guys just driving that way for years as long as noise goes away quickly
