2017 Toyota Land Cruiser V6 opinions

Hi Scotty, I was wondering if the V6 Engines are as reliable as V8 engines on Toyota Land Cruisers 2017 model.Thank you

Sure they are reliable. But the V8 moves the mass of the vehicle much better and is more responsive.

I would get the V8 if it were me.

I’m in Qatar and they offer here three engines 4.0 V6 4.6 V8 and 5.7 V8

Which market are you in?  Here in North America we only get the 5.7L V8 engine (3UR-FE).  That being said the 4.0L V6 engine (1GR-FE) is used here in the Toyota 4runner and (previously) FJ-Cruiser and has been fairly reliable.  However, for a vehicle like the Land Cruiser you are better off with the V8.  If you are curious about some potential issues with the 4.0L V6 see below:
