Hey so I have a 2017 Hyundai Elantra 2.0L VE. It has 130,000miles never had any issues doesn’t even burn a drop of oil, Sometimes after sitting for a few hours or more it will take a little bit longer to start than usual.sometimes very labored and sluggish. And this morning after it started I felt a rumble in my seat almost like a misfire.but sometimes it almost feels like the battery is weak. But it’s hardly 4months old, but it is a Walmart battery. I know this car has issues with the ignition coils, all 4 have been replaced about 5months or so ago along with the plugs. But they were eBay coils. Most of the time it fires right up just fine even on a cold start, this is a very intermittent issue. And there are no codes I have no idea what it could be

Go to an auto parts store and have them load test your battery. If it fails drove to walmart and have them replace it. They do three year free replacement on thier batts.

Battery is fine

You could also have your starter starting to fail then.

Switch to OEM coils & check if it persists.

Also, load test your alternator if you’re positive you have a good battery.

I have the same year Elantra with the push start button. Sometimes when it starts it is rough like when the battery is weak. I had my battery replaced a month ago and still same issue. I had a misfire code a few years ago and I replaced all spark plugs and coils. Did you ever found out what the issue was? Thanks!

that person hasn't been to the forum in over 2 years. I don't think they're going to answer you. Please post a new topic being sure to include all the details in the instructions. Thanks.
