2018 Camry Pre-Collision light comes on when it is "very hot"

Asking for a friend.

2018 Base model Camry 13,000 miles.  We live in Las Vegas and had a heck of a heat wave.  The light indicator turns on saying Pre-Collision is disabled.  Sometimes it is on for a few seconds, sometimes 15 minutes.  All of the time the temperature was over 105 degrees.  Dealer said there is a temperature sensor that shuts them down when they are overheating.  The book states that if the light comes on for no reason to take it to Toyota immediately.  Nothing in the book states that it will come on in hot or cold weather, only rain and fog.

Any ideas?  Or what should we do?  Car is out of the 36 month warranty

Me I personally ignore it those collision warning systems don't work that great and if it's out of warranty you're going to be paying through the nose to get that thing worked on that's the problem with those systems when they're out of warranty and they break or you get in a wreck it can cost a fortune to fix them
