bought at 21,000 3yr old from Canada and with 50,000 it has had front passenger side caliper replaced twice, last one lifetime warranty from NAPA parts and authorized mechanic. It will when cold pull right and after a little time will stop. Then later on same day may do it again intermittently . I did ask mechanic if the lifetime is a remanufactured and he said yes. All other calipers are fine and the truck is averaging 21 mpg. So its not dragging constantly, and mechanic said pads showed wear. What would cause this? Used to drive 8-12 yr old vehicles with a minimum of 120,00-140,000 and put to rest at 250,00-305,000 and now retired this weird problem. Hydralic pressure problem?
I would check to see if the brake system was properly bled and do it again to make sure there is no air anywhere in the system.
The hose on that caliper might be coming apart inside causing pressure problems. That's a fairly new vehicle but it's possible. (I had that problem on an AMC Hornet I used to own. The hose was holding pressure internally and making the caliper drag.)
