Hi Scotty, My name is Blake Cowart I own a 2018 Ford F-150 Sport 2.7 EcoBoost with a 10-Speed transmission and it also has 39,903 miles on it. It has had issues shifting gears. It completely skips second gear, will jump kinda hard into 4th gear(especially going up hill), skip 4th gear and will clunk when put into reverse from park. Took it to the dealer to have it reprogrammed(still under warranty). After I got it back from dealer it still has the same problems. They said issues would resolve after about 100 miles or so but it doesn’t seem that it will be the case. Thank you Scotty me and my fiancée Hannah love your channel.
Sounds like you are in for allot of contact with the dealership, you might want to check out another one to see what they do. Did they scan it, and do you know what errors were coming back. Best of luck, I left a link with some information on the history of that transmission.

Thank you so much!!
I’d ditch that truck, the dealer will not permanently fix any issues with the 10R80, or any other problems that come up for that matter. Ford will fight you to the end, they do not stand by their products and customer service is not part of the company anymore. And real quality has been all but forgotten about. I just read an article that last yr Ford spent over 2 billion in warranty repairs alone. Recalls keep popping up with every truck they put out year after year. Jim Farley and Bill Ford need to go. They’ve pushed the Ford name further down into the garbage pile.
