After my CRV has sat overnight or for a period of time, I hear popping from the front end, epically after I back out of my driveway.  Had dealer look at it after I drove to them for p/m service. They road tested and could not hear anything.  It only makes the noise when it has sat for some time!  Any thoughts?

thank you.

Sounds like the bushings are a little creaky from sitting and not being lubricated by movement. That does happen and the issue generally does resolve after the parts get moving and get lubricated up.

Most likely it is nothing to worry about.

Thank you very much!

spray some lube on the suspension, one component at a time. If the pop goes away, that part is worn out. I have seen neglected ball joints separate while in motion. Not something you want.

This morning when I let the car warm up in the garage before I left for work, (After sitting Sunday and Monday) There was no popping when I backed out. Could it be transmission related at all?
