I have a 2018 Jeep Compass with the 8.4 Uconnect Nav head unit. I have 40,000 miles on the clock and the screen is showing excessive wear in the places it’s touched the most. I bought the extended warranty that covers up to 150,000 miles. My dealer says they won’t cover the screen because it’s normal wear and tear. I say a 3 year old screen shouldn’t wear so easily. Is it worth it to sue FCA or whoever owns Jeep now to replace my screen? I know how fond you are of Chrysler products and it’s probably my own fault for buying one, but I’m hoping something can be done.

Keep using the screen till it stops working before warranty ends and have them replace it.
It shouldn’t wear so easily but then again it’s an FCA product. As long as everything on that screen still works keep using it until it fails and then get a new one under warranty.
